How does one stay in the present? Intent?
Yes, that's always the key. Truly, intent is the spiritual part of you that always knows what's going on. If you tend to “float,” then you don't spend much time in the present. Intent to stay in the present helps your body have a goal. Also take a look at your diet. Sometimes what you eat will help ground you more appropriately. Then there's always exercise! It works... very grounding.
